*wide selection at breakfast, large breakfast room, cold and warm food available.
*some members of staff friendly (particularly Slim).
*the lobby is beautifully decorated and the decor around the hotel is lovely.
*good to have a free shuttle bus to take you into the centre/Medina.*the bedroom facilities are awful - air conditioning very poor, fridge, telephone, shower all not working in both the rooms we tried.
*we were moved after request because of poor facilities, but the other 2 rooms were equally dated, poorly maintained and very out dated furnishing.
*the door to the outside/balcony was broken...no one bothered to fix it even after requests.
*room service poor. Selection very poor/limited and nothing seemed to be available.
*music from across our room at the hotel opposite blaring until midnight. Very noisy with children playing out until late.
* the pool was very busy all day and not private enough for ladies only or families only. No specific times for families or ladies either. There is a children's pool which was less full only after 7pm.
*we found a huge cockroach in our bedroom! We asked for assistance...We got sent a handyman not the manager or anyone who seemed to care. My daughter was petrified.
